Yeah i played hockey and my son plays now. Hockey moms are the worst.

Have you ever coached? Parents are extending hard on coaches, I actually refuse to coach kids sports now. The worst was coaching baseball with my oldest, first year above T-ball so young kids. Parents kept complaining that the kids never played at practice, why don’t they scrimmage? I’m sorry but my job at that level is to teach fundamentals, catching, throwing and hitting are learned through repetition not through one ball every once in a while by chance. “ They need to have fun!” They’ll have a lot more fun winning the game because they knew what to do and had the skill to do it.

Don’t get me started on hockey parents, they are the absolute worst. Thankfully neither of my boys showed any interest in playing hockey. I dated a hockey mom once, they are all *frenching crazy!!!

theres a father who has a couple kids in basketball, the youngest one is in 4th grade. he regularly gets removed from games because he gets so belligerent. i just feel terrible for the kid.

Ran to town and was able to get some from the local farm type chain store.
Of course these lines used jic fittings and the only hoses they had the correct size were pipe thread so I had to get adapter fittings.

Everything associated with running any flight control checks…flaps, slats, spoilers, rudders, elevators is all JIC fittings from the actuation/pump carts and hoses to every poppet-style QD end fittings and hoses we have to run these. More JIC fittings than you could shake a damn stick at.

I wish this thing was just 1 type of fitting but I've ran into multiple. The pump to the drives is jic to O-ring.
Pump to the control valve is pipe to pipe.

Always an adventure.

Just waiting for smoking/grilling season to start. Funky weather this winter has severely impacted my outdoor cooking. Been playing with the Sous vide some and cutting firewood.
How’s things been with you?
