Good morning men. Went and did a dumb thing yesterday. Yup, a puppy! Our 2-1/2 year old poodle needed a friend, so we went and got a golden-doodle. 8 weeks old, long term it will be a good move, right now, ugh! She did sleep until 3. Lol

As does the poodle, which is why we even considered this. Going to be a fun month or so while she learns the ropes. We will soon forget the middle of the night going out.

My wife brought home what I think is a beagle and blue tick mix dog a few years back not realizing how intense his nose and hunting instincts are. I love the dog because he goes everywhere with my daughters on their horses and follows the boys on their dirt bikes BUT he will be the last non=hunting hound we have. He always wants out in the middle of the night to chase stuff.

My wife brought home what I think is a beagle and blue tick mix dog a few years back not realizing how intense his nose and hunting instincts are. I love the dog because he goes everywhere with my daughters on their horses and follows the boys on their dirt bikes BUT he will be the last non=hunting hound we have. He always wants out in the middle of the night to chase stuff.

My beagle gets picked up almost every time I let him run lately. He will get in the car with anyone. I failed to teach him the whole stranger danger thing. We have have a lot of townies that come past our house on the way to the distillery and whatnot that think they're saving the poor lost dog. He's an assholé...

It's crazy how a 1hr drive west of here generally means a lot more snow...often times 2X
