That would take a whole lot of screws. I started using 3" roofing nails in it a few years ago. They hold much better than the 2.5" ring shanks that were in it.

Expansion and contraction, metal and foam do it at different rates.

Think of a ring shank nail, like a french tickler (ribbed for pleasure) after 51 years of that nail moving in & out of the same hole, she's gonna be a bit worn out. Not as tight as she once was.

I bought this Milwaukee 2767-22 kit on a black Friday sale, from home depot, for $399 free shipping, no tax, and choice of a bonus tool.

I never used it, figured if I ain't used it in the last few months time to peddle it. I was sick of seeing it in the closet.

Put it on FB Marketplace this morning for $450, figured people would want to haggle me down to $350 or something, They are now listed $500 at home depot and other retailers.

I had 3 people within minutes fighting for it. I told them whoever gets to the Cenex with $450 cash first gets it. See ya'll in 10 minutes.

Mr Torres was first on the scene. He did not try to haggle me on the price.

The bonus tool I got on black Friday, is the M18 2962-20, 1/2 mid range impact.

I've used a few times, it has more then enough stones for what I need a impact for.

I saw a guy on a job once, hand drive a ring shank nail through his finger, and out the other side. I doubt I would of believed it, had I not saw it happen.

He was trying to put in a piece of missing drywall backing, the nail would not set, the stud he was trying to nail into was all bouncing all over the place, the nail had popped out of place, when he went to drive it again, it went right through his finger.

He was a ornery german guy. He yanked it out with a pair of pliers, and went back to work.

All I thought was damn, I ain't ever talking lip to him.

Ed, Gotta ask what you think about the valvetrain/cam failures you have posted. I can't imagine GM is off on the metallurgy materials and processes. I see they have gone to forged or possibly vacuum pressed powdered metal rocker arms? I'm assuming it is due to the cam profiles you have shown. It looked as if the cam lobe ramps seemed very aggressive on opening and closing side. Are these parts failing because of that or is it mileage demands or lightweight 0W20 engine oils? And don't tell me you don't give a fukk. I highly doubt that would be your opinion.
