Any thoughts on this 660 flywheel? It's missing 4 fins with a 5th one about to finish breaking off. Still usable or paperweight?

Break a couple more to make it even. Balance would be the biggest issue I would think.Any thoughts on this 660 flywheel? It's missing 4 fins with a 5th one about to finish breaking off. Still usable or paperweight?

You think it would have cooling issues missing 8 fins?Break a couple more to make it even. Balance would be the biggest issue I would think.
Oh really? Why’s that lol.
Went out just long enough to start the vehicles and try and make sure they’ll run tomorrow when we need them.
Looks like a frozen wasteland.

lol
we had a hail storm back a few years ago and some of it was the size of baseballs
alot of roofs had to be replaced along with cars
you still see dented up cars every now and then
Got lucky on that storm. Was on the lake and watched the weather roll around us. Ended up following about 10 to 15 minutes behind. About half way home there were fields with baseball/softball size stones. Didn't have a safe place to pull over with the boat so I had to wait to get off main road to get those pictures. Ditches were full of nickle size hail for at least a good mile where it ran off the highway.Holy smokes!! Best have vehicles inside garage lol
I thought 5 hours north of Fargo is where Santa lives?
I think just me and him are from the canuckistan on here am I correct?
Looks like? It is a frozen wasteland. You should move.

Hows the air filter? How bout air box and boot? What happened to this Yamaha TTR50 piston? The cylinder is just fine and I didn't find anything loose in the bottom end. The only suspect thing I found was a stretched cam chain.
I dont think it hit anything.I don't think it could've hit the crank but I'll run back down and fit the piston back up to see if it could've.
My vote is nope.Any thoughts on this 660 flywheel? It's missing 4 fins with a 5th one about to finish breaking off. Still usable or paperweight?

Whats the cylinder to piston clearance?
Ride it in a really dusty area/homemade track?
Piston almost looks sandblasted.
I dont think it hit anything.
I think it may have chipped off from vibration due to piston wear from a leak that has let dust and dirt in from the air box or boot.
Piston wears down pretty evenly. Doesnt look scored or chattered as much in a 4 stroke.
No carbon buildup in the exhaust area of the head would also be an indicator that air filtration is compromised.
Would also look sandblasted and clean like the piston.
Just check your piston to cylinder clearance and ring end gap for ring wear. Thanks for all of this. I got the bike second hand from my brother but I'm not sure who had it before him and what their riding styles location was like but I know my nephew only rode it in a pasture type of setting.
I'll look into all the other questions and things to look at and let you know what I find.
Thanks again.
