I’ve had a couple 1948 cubs
I have a 1973 cub loboy 154
And 1966 cub 122

Mine doesn't have a serial number plate, so I am not positive, but I think it is a 1950. Generator is missing, but it cranks right over and starts easily with the magneto . I use it mainly to sickle mow small areas that the big tractor can't maneuver in. Some of my best hay is in those areas. Woods mower is not on it now. The sickle stays mounted.

Yes, but it is not there. Somehow it has been removed. I checked the casting dates on engine, transmission, torque tube, and they all put it at 1950ish. Not that it is that important. Goes good with my TO-20. I like old stuff.

1947 was the first year i think and it was the only one not to have hydraulic lift for the implements
the cubs was fun to just ride on and easy to maneuver in tighter spots even though no power steering
key to that is keeping everything greased

Has the 18" blade

I could've bought 4 of these there's no tax on gun's or ammo here.
This was bridgeport equipment they don't seem to sell as many stihls as the 40 year old Stihl dealer two miles away they tried to put out of business
He service's everything he sells bridgeport doesn't.

What happened to this Yamaha TTR50 piston? The cylinder is just fine and I didn't find anything loose in the bottom end. The only suspect thing I found was a stretched cam chain.

Went out just long enough to start the vehicles and try and make sure they’ll run tomorrow when we need them.
