I don't disagree...but might help some Stihl fans come out of the closet to experience the 395.

I don't think they really do anything a well ported 661 doesn't. .. atleast up to a 36" bar...but I've never ran a bigger bar on a 90cc saw so I wouldn't know.

But..I don't time cuts and play chainsaws.

Heat soak - the 394/395s are the 90cc kings of heat soak. A 661 is a great saw but it won't handle a day of chainsaw milling or ripping stumps on a landing like a 394/395 will.

Me either.
Everything I own gets used.
I will say that a 661 magnum stock with a 36" bar feels bar heavy, but performs well.

An SP125C Mac feels damn good in the hands and almost perfectly balanced with a 36" bar, but ive yet to be able to run it. Ive heard they also do well with a 60" bar and up. Again, haven't had the opportunity to test on one yet.
