That's an added in battery disconnect because they flat tow it behind a big ass motorhome.

I paid that for 16 acres of land that wrapped around my house and 5 acres. In 2012! The value of my land is going up, not that I care. But 83k for a truck? Damn that is steep!

That's what a decently equipped 32k gvw cab and chassis are up to now.
Ed, Chevy question. I know a guy who has a new Trailboss but doesn't know where the internal key on fob gets inserted. Is that a override if the pushbutton on dash doesn't work? And what would he expect to pay for a spare fob ass? Just in case he accidently locks things up. Thx

BTW, super nice 3500. It's got it all except engine brake.

The key in the fob can be used to unlock the drivers door. The small part of the door handle at the rear pops off and there is a lock cylinder behind it.
If the pushbutton on dash doesn't work, your shìt out of luck, call a tow truck.
A spare fob I'd guess $130, plus programming, likely an hour at whatever the local dealer rate is. If he bought it new, he should have received 2.
All the HD diesels have an exhaust brake. Not a true exhaust brake I guess, but they use the variable turbo and throttle valve to close down airflow.
