My best friend is supposed to fly into Savannah Georgia Saturday morning, right about the time ots supposed to hit there. Except his trip is supposed to be vacation.

Hopefully it won,t be too bad. If he is staying in town he should be ok but if he is at the beach he may lose power for a short time.
I am buying the wife a new truck tomorrow, she is worried about something happening to it.

Heard some locals here might be headed down too. Just waiting an an agreement to be signed letting them in to work. Apparently the last one lapsed during COVID and no one noticed.

Was out walking this morning and Thea’s demeanour suddenly changed, tail tucked and slowed her pace, I scanned around and the headlamp picked up a pair of eyeballs in the field. They didn’t react when hit by the light, didn’t move when I shouted. Not a coyote as it would have answered back or taken off, I’m thinking it was likely a skunk, not worried about it charging at us but also didn’t want to be between where it was and where it wanted to be…

We've been low 30's in the mornings since Monday here.
We've also had 10 weekends in a row with measurable rainfall.
