So Dream is more than just your OPE screen name?

Almost stopped the car to *b-word out one of the new neighbours, he was mowing the ditches and spraying grass all over the road, I figure at 5am tomorrow I’ll just fire up the blower and clean it off, maybe he’ll learn without a confrontation.

You can do what you want Gary, might want to simmer down and get to know the new neighbors, they might just end up being ok. Hate to see you start on the wrong foot when it could turn out better. You may be neighbors a long time, why make that an unpleasant time? Cooler heads is usually best.

Relax slacker, it mightve fit on one forearm.
I dare say he will ever be small enough to actually wear it.
His dad is 6'-3". Mom is about 5'-9".
Lots of "oversized stock" on both sides.
Bet he will be at least 9 lbs when he gets here. Hope mom is ready for that.:D

I took Greyson on a ride on the 2640. I didn't know how he would react to the noise the old girl makes, but he absolutely loved it.
They dont mind the noise. They just want to spend the time with you.
He will remember that sound, and probably enjoy it for the rest of his life.
Same way I am with a straight piped Allis Chalmers 4 cylinder. Some of the best memories I have are from when "paw paw" put me on the seat with him while he was plowing or cultivating.

Yep, Dream is a nickname ive had for as long as I can remember.
Pretty much everyone but my parents call me that.

As far as the grass in the road, check the circumstances before chewing his arse.
We live on a busy road in a very sharp curve.
Its the last place I want to blow grass clippings out on the pavement because of motorcycles, but its also EXTREMELY dangerous for me to mow with my back to traffic.
Our front yard area is riddled with skid marks and the trees are skinned up front idiots who try to take that curve too fast.
I mow it with the discharge chute closed, but due to the angle, some grass does get out there.
I am just not willing to take the risk of some fuggtard losing it and running over me. I need to be able to see it coming, so ive at least got a fighting chance to dodge.

I tend to agree. Coming from someone who has lived on the same road for 36 years.

Lots of "oversized stock" on both sides.

But no "good looks"?

Sad.

See last post.
Thankfully, he looks like his mother.;)
I know his biological father as well, and thankfully, he doesnt look much like him either.:)
I'm just the stepdad, but I'm damn proud of him all the same.

Alright, I’ll take the Makita battery blower over to clean it up. Not a busy road but a bunch of kids on bikes. He is on the straight right after the curve but did the ditches on both sides so at some point his back was to the curve and he blew on to the road from both sides. Simply too lazy to deadhead to the far end and then back with the discharge in to the ditch.

Maybe he doesnt realise it, or maybe doesnt care.
Either way, your good faith gesture might make him realise his error or maybe he doesnt care, but you are doing the right thing to step up and fix it.
If the road isnt busy, I'll get the mower up there and blow some of the grass clippings back out of the road.
Usually too busy for that, but I try.
Cant even remember the number of wrecks out there, but they have gone as far as completely severing one of the power line poles that sit on the road frontage.
Hit with so much force that I still see splinters from the pole over 30 meters into our woods.
The utility company left the nearly 2 meter section of the pole that they broke off for me to clean up.
