Looks like lack of routine maintenance Adam. Heating and beating to get the pin out LOL. The hollow pin was temporary to just steer the machine to work area. Now to get the spherical bearing out without ruining the bore of that one LOL.

@Dream you mentioned log handling gear recently.
That bin of oil is how it came out of the drum, not the machine.....

Very large grapple even for that size Volvo. Surprised no counterweight add ons LOL.
That oil looks misleading to me. I think it is just heavily aerated from a fresh tap of the pneumatic pump. Let it sit for 10-15 minutes and it will look normal. It looks as if it's de-aerating already on the right side. If it was truly water engrossed it would be a little more baby chit colored and not glossy in appearance. Keep rocking out the pics Adam. Glad you are happy with your new fit
