I will give our city some credit. The large field gets sprayed with larvicide by helicopter after every rainfall and the smaller area with truck or backpack sprayers. They spend a bunch on prevention, not a single buzz or bite this morning.

Mornins. Happy ID. If this guy here is the hare I'm abut to see a mess of these. The wind is right. I didn't see the tragedy over the weekend but I happened to be driving by the air field shortly after, way too far down the runway to notice anything.
