I've started keeping a few bearing in stock for my old Hesston baler.

I traded for this Steiner mower, knew it needed a few things. Been nursing it as it has two 1" flange bearings per spindle with a keyed taper lock pulley between the bearings. No way to get a puller in for the bearings as the top bearing is under a welded upper plate, then the pulley, then the lower bearing under the deck. Shaft of spindle has to go out the bottom. Not much room. That's why I put it off. Going to get 6 new inserts, and will torch off the old bearings if I have to. The top bearing on the first one is being a biatch.

I will win, but it is going to be a fight I think.

These have 50 ton rams. About 2" of stroke.
Not going deep, but they gots the GIRTH...
Need both of them to lift a 185 ton(capacity) crane off its runway.

We use ‘em with diff length adapters if needed to remove stubborn ass bolts, pins, bushings, etc on flight controls (slats, flaps, spoilers, rudders, elevators). They work damn good.

They had 1 bearing in town, I need 6. Ordered from farmer Bob. Should be here by the end of the week. Gives me time to get all disassembled and ready for reassembly. Going to have to walk the back lawn now, the humanity! I guess I could use a little exercise.

Planted potatoes this morning after plowing up the row with the Gravely rotary plow. Already picking peppers and squash, strawberries, blueberries, and beans. Y'all stay hydrated, heat exhaustion is no joke.
