So I spent most of the day on "projects".
Helped the boys friend put a new axle I gave him under his boat trailer after he cooked the bearings and wrecked the spindle on one end.
Then I rebuilt the Enerpac pumps that we use to lift cranes to change wheels, bearings, etc. Reservoir leaks were the biggest problem. Should be good to go for awhile now.

Then went over and mowed the boys field with the old Allis.
Thats good therapy.
Listening to that little 4 banger with the governer kicking in when it hits a thick spot does me some good.
Allis Chalmers 4 cylinders have a more pronounced "bark" when the governor demands fuel than the Farmalls "smooth power" purr.
Id liken it to a Harley versus a BMW or Honda for sound "pleasure". Its just more raw.
Like it better than the stuttery "putt putt" of an old 2 cell Johnny popper, though that doesnt sound bad either.
Dont tell anybody I sed dat.
Sounds really good through a straight pipe stack, but the ears like the muffler too.

Slacked off the rest of the day.
