Walked my hay fields today and I think I am going to wait to cut. We just had a good soaking for a few days and I think with the higher temps coming up we may see some great growth. I only use 200-300 squares a year so I can take the gamble. One good cutting fills the pantry so to speak. I will either get a great cutting or I end up flailing it and let it feed a second cutting. I still have 40 round bales indoors right now, so what the heck.

Got the carb kit for the little McCulloch today and that was all it took to get it running. Chain is dull, but it runs and oils good.

Going to slack for a bit!

Another grey day around here. Not only the weather but found out last night my father in law is losing his battle. He’s almost 5 years past the 6 months he was told he had left but it’s still hard when the body really starts to fail.

Sorry Gary, I understand. My FIL had trouble breathing, he finally tired of fighting for breath, so he stopped eating. He never smoked but he worked at power plants. Was hard watching him wither away. It was his choice, so I respect that.

You got more time than was promised, but it never seems enough. We don't know how many trips around the sun we get, so cherish the ones you get.
