Afternoon ball examiners.
Went to the lake for a "precamping" meet up with the kids.
Headed out Friday morning to secure a decent beach.
Rest of the guys are coming out as they get off work Friday.
Girls coming out Saturday morning.

What's next escalation after helicoil for wallared out threads lads? Is it called timesert?

Edit: she too wallared I think. Like an 8mm drill bit fits in where a 4mm thread fastener should wallared.
What about JB Marine and drill through from the back and then setting a helicoil, or even JBing a 4mm rivnut barrel in?

i think some guys that have the ability to drill a hole in the centre of a bolt and tap it to the thread they want (in a lathe) put the said bolt in the enlarged hole that they tapped out and call it done.
i guess you could try ;)

maybe someone has a better idea

Timeserts yes,
I use keenserts. They come in thick and thin walled versions. Staked and loctited.
Another heavy walled non staked is EZ Lock. Hope this helps.

Rivet nut epoxied in from the back sounds like it could work.

Good morning men, a huge shout-out to Gary, @GCJenks204 , thank you for the rain. Hope @Mastermind got some too. We are getting a good soaking, and refilling our remote water supplies. Good job.

Y'all be safe.

We are getting a nice soaking here Larry.
