Playing two matches later towards the evening…one singles match and one mixed doubles match with a fella, his ol’ lady, and one of her store-bought tittie-totin’ blonde friends. Just wrapped up a little welding project with my son. We picked up the steel yesterday afternoon…just painted it before lunch. This will have two disc hillers mounted to it when they arrive next week.

Afternoon all. Late start to the day, went out for dinner and drinks with Tamara’s coworkers last night.

Checked out a new restaurant/lounge that is in a historic building that houses the city’s original pumping station for power the network of fire hydrants. Cool spot, the crowd was a little too hipster for me.

Mrs insists the kids do something edumacational at some point on our trips away, so yesterday it was the Devonport naval museum and gun emplacement complete with tunnel network.
Idea was to protect Auckland harbour from the Russians in the late 1800s originally.
Very cool day. Made the kids think a bit at least.
