Well friend. I can walk you through a induction leak down test. You will need a regulated air supply, heavy plastic bag, and soapy water spray. Komatsu T&A proven. LOL

This thing is the shiz.
Different size "balloons" to seal off exhaust, intake ducts, etc.
Works great for finding induction and exhaust system leaks.
For once, a GM special tool that actually works...

Thanks for tips. I have access to a smoke machine and failing that radiator pressure bungs. Combining that with a bit of experience finding punctures in tyres should cover a physical leak in the boost system. It's tuned so I need up to 30psi. It only faults on a long hard uphill pull, so I suspect a hairline crack or something. Full throttle acceleration madness on the flat doesn't bother it.
Electronic, well that could get interesting.
Might just have to buy myself an obd dongle to live monitor it.

Afternoon hammer heads.
Took the floaty thing in last Monday to have the carpet replaced.
Guy said two weeks.
Called me right before lunch and said it was ready!
Dude did an awesome job!
No more carpet. All one seamless piece of waterproof, if resistant non-skid vinyl.
Got it home and cleaned up the nasty bimini top. That came out better than I expected too.

I got on the roof for awhile. Just about passed the *f-word out from the heat. Must still be dehydrated from the marathon bowel movement session.....
Was up there myself today. From 8:30 this morning to 6pm. Ripped 10 sq today and re decked after replacing some rotten rafters. New decking is 5/8'' Oscillating *s-worde Board. Prepped it all in water tight with synthetic paper. Ready for material delivery on Mon.

Shingles went up AGAIN. They're just over $45/bdl here. Don't wait to long. They're bound to jump AGAIN.
You too @USMC615

I would do whatever I had to to make that work again if it were me.
Also, if that truck were here it would be considered rust free. Consider that when repairing the body. Dennis Carpenter has panels that come right off of the old forms he bought from Ford.

The boys almost have it ready to fire up.

Should be driving it around in a day or two.

Will probably still use the better cab, just change the dash so the ac stays.

I have stripped one of those dashes.
I had a 74 F150 4x4. Body was beat up, so I bought a donor. Same truck, just 2wd.
Also a factory AC truck.
Word of advice. Wear gloves when you take the screws that hold the dash pad on out. There is what feels to be a roll of concertina wire up under there.:confused:.

The dash itself does unbolt from the cab if I'm looking at it correctly....right?

Evening folks, it is always 20 degrees hotter on an asphalt shingles roof. Would love to help you boss, but I am going to be busy when you are doing it. Whenever that is. Lol

Yep.
If I remember correctly, the dash pad does have to come off before you can get at all of the bolts.
Makes it a little easier anyway. Been over 20 years since I last attempted.
