Not really much risk, just a huge PITA if they have to be pried or cut off of the belt. Every core, regardless of where it was in the furnace, is scrapped. The braze process is incredibly precise. At least monthly I wire up a core to do a "heat curve" graph to make sure things are happening as they should.View attachment 332119

I have no idea who's manufacturing these radiators in the new Blazer, but they should hire your azz to fix their incompetence.

We've been putting in a ton of these, all around 10-15,000 miles..

Ah, your area of responsibility furnace brazes externally supplied tanks and cores together, rather than manufacturing the tanks and cores and subsequently furnace brazing them?

You'd know it if we made it, would be stamped or stickered on a tank.

We have bought extruded tube, but the newest generation is formed, fluxed, then sealed in the furnace(think inner fin then wrapped to form a tube). The heat exchange fins are formed in the core assembly machine, headers, tanks, caps, and blocks(the inlet/outlet) are all stamped and fluxed in house.

Dad broke the ends of the lift cylinders off, don’t know how?!
Kinda piss pour design anyways
Took some 3/8 stock welded to one side then put the pin in and heat and bend to form then welded to other side

Not sure whom it is, but I have a good idea as to the where it was.

Only markings on it..

Evening saw shiners and rad-iator ruiners.
Turned out to be a nice evening here in North Augusta SC. Rain we got this afternoon washed down some of the pollen, so its bearable to be outside.
