Evening gentlemen, another long day, but the weekend is just a day away. I wish these stations didn't wait until they are going to be fined before they upgrade. We are slammed right now and just can't keep up. Anyone looking for a new career in east TN? Must be a jack of most trades. Basic electrical troubleshooting, mechanical, and know how to operate a laptop, really basic. PM if you want more info.

If this violates any rules, let me know @Mastermind

@Dream you might get a kick out of our electrolifts from around the 1940s. We got to go to the factory in NJ when we came out for the NY GTG a couple years ago. I need to replace some coils in the motor brake in one....motors are pre NEMA and short and fat...new motor brake combos are long and won't fit between the rails, so we have to keep the old stuff going.

It violates nothing.

What's it pay? I might be interested.

Starting pay is not that great down south, but as you get to where you can fix anything, you can demand a good hourly rate. I wouldn't recommend anyone over 50 to start as there is a learning curve. Basically too much to know. Some guys pick it all up in a few years, and some have 20 years experience, but it is the same year, 20 times.

I wish I could do what you do. Too late for me. Will play in this sandbox until I retire again. Which will be sooner if they don't get some people.

I do like my job, but the hours are stupid lately. We have a good group, and a great environment.

Absolute perfect game by Arkansas sending the Zags packing…now up $400. When Nova sends the Wolver-weenies packing, be up $500!

Edit...fat fingered the amount, up $500 vice $600.

Sounds Ed Zachary like what I'm already doing, except with more flammable stuffs, and I don't have to climb stairs or get in an aerial lift.
Nope, not enough danger for me...
Unless it pays REALLY WELL.:D

Yep. Worm drive hoists.
No mechanical load brake needed.
Built on the principle of mechanical inefficiency.
Damn good hoists, as long as there is a little oil in that gearcase.
If my sketchyass memory serves me right, those brakes are made by Dings dynamics.
Some of their coils may still fit.
May be able to contact them and give them dimensions and voltage and get coils.
Otherwise, take a coil thats not too badly smoked to a decent motor rewind shop. They can wind coils for you for pretty cheap and easy.

I never gain weight. Eat like a horse, drink gallons of milk every week…and still maintain a 225 lb figure. Lol
I dont know how many times I have to say this.

How are the primary schools in your area. The family is looking to relocate this summer.
