Nah, the male required 2 rounds. I dropped the female, he ran, hit him in the azz first shot.
She was roughly 200 yards, he was about 250.

All I see's is two dead yotes...mission accomplished!

I dont understand the hate towards the coyotes lol. I have "Coy-wolfs" here and they are big. They don't give me many problems, it's nice to hear them yapping during dusk. I always wanted to come across a pup in the wild I'd raise it my own dog just call it a husky mutt lol

The only animal I kill on sight is porcupines, they destroy oaks, pines, any trees really but they love oaks, which happens to be my favorite. What a nuisance animal with no predators around here. I had one get into a bag of empty beer cans one night and ate some of them

Fire up the smoker and sausage stuffer. No such thing as too much jerky and salami. Plus there are lots of food pantries and charities that could use meat. A lot more than the predators can. The only reason I see pheasants anymore around here is because the hunting reserves plant them. 'Yotes got the rest.

I get pheasants in snares sometimes. And you're right on that and especially with the price of meat at the grocery store
