The beautiful weather we were having is coming to an end. Rain and cooler weather is expected.....

It was great to be able to spend a couple of days on outside chores. Got my catch pen and loading pen set up, hauled hay, mended fence.....

395XPs on the bench for today.

Ok ya, Diesel here is $4.75-4.95.
Gas is $4.35
No end in sight with what is going on.
My son took off to AL with his GF for her spring break on Sat. Do you think they would take her little Lexus SUV? Nope, '17 one ton crew cab diesel ftw. He may not be able to afford to drive home by the weekend.

I paid the same for diesel this morning. $106 to fill up
Know the feeling…only thing that keeps me away from the gas stations is the fact that my MegaCab has a 35 gal tank, and a 10 mile round trip to work every day. Let it get down to about an 1/8 of a tank, and you can just watch the liquid money rack up fast to filler’ up. You’d think that Hemi’s FI was fed with a damn 5/8” water hose.

Did a rack o’ spare ribs yesterday. By the time I cut ‘em, went outside real quick to brush the grill grate and put the lid back on the Weber 26.75, my son done plated half the damn things. He might be a candidate for a worm or two also…eats like a damn horse. No clue where he gets that from. Anyhoo…’bout as good as the pic could get. Rubbed down with Smokin’ Guns Sweet Heat rub.

we have 6 $ per gallon / and we earn less ;-)
Well…oil traders and speculators here are saying $200/barrel possibly by the end of the month. Simple math equates to between $7 to over $9 a gallon here depending on where you reside in the US. Of course that’s speculation, hence the term speculators. And I’m sure it’ll approach $200 if not go over, by the time it’s all said and done. Traders will make out like kings on this one.

…might be time to start airing up Schwinn 10-speed tires around these parts.

Well the pipeline was for importing more, but there are other levers that could be pulled. There's enough energy in the ground that gas could cost a quarter a gallon. Now I don't expect that, but it could be.

But more $$ fuel gets, the more feasible the alternatives become. The people that make these decisions can afford $60/gal gas.
