I assume those are the gc2 golf cart batteries? I too have electrical and electronics experience so won't have any problems. I assume you have a mppt charge controller? Have you had to replace any batteries in the ten years? What is the expected life of the batteries?

I have been researching this for a few years, I never though I would get my answers on a chainsaw forum? Fuggin clown world! Lol, thanks for taking the time to answer.

Everyone else, GFY. Lol
Yes to battery and mppt with output monitor . Solar panels off Amazon. You could set up a system for $5000 that other non handy folk would spend $20000 or more on. Crazy how the solar companies screw over people. Electricity is electricity as you know...no need for special solar wire and special connectors etc. Geeez! I do not draw much off the batteries and I have some near 7 yrs old and others near 5. You understand batteries and cycling do it depends on your depth of discharge etc.. I have had Trojan T105s before and for the money I would stick with Sam's Club. Plus I can just drive to Sam's Club if any problems etc..easier and better bang for the buck as you know from your research. I have electricity down at the road but would need some poles and..why bother. With LED everything and other energy efficient stuff, you can power a lot of things. Only time I need lots of electricity is welding and tools but usually I am doing something that makes me money so the cost of gas running my welder /generator is well spent.

Thanks again. There is a guy near me selling a pallet (25panels) 330 watts each for $89 each if you buy 25.

So he could burn them.
Windstorms are supposed to hit today
Blowing hard now
Paul doesn't give a *s-word
He set several fires then went home to
Watch the news and eat a bologna sandwich and have a Pepsi.
I've seen him set probably 400 yds of road bank on fire and go home before
He does that twice a year to keep undergrowth down
It does look good when he's done.
