Hey Ed, So is this segmented at 40 hours for head removal, recondition, lifter R&R, and heads install? So front end work, frt tires, fender wells, and what nots are segmented and added on right. Am I seeing this properly. That's how it works in my world.

It's not that way in my world.
Everything that requires removal to do the job is included..
And regular book time is 40.
I'm getting 19.8.. because that's warranty time.

The part that irritates me is how it gets to this point.
Truck is way out of any warranty.
But, customer calls and cries to GM. Because the manufacturers all build such garbage they need to kiss everyone's azz and give away my time and the dealers time to "help" the customer because it supposedly helps customer retention.
If GM so much as pays for the parts or participates by even $1 labor, I get warranty time, not regular time.

I'm not that young.
I'm 44.
And starting a shop today on my own? No fukking way.
Insurance, tools, building, hoists, all that crap, nope..I'm fine with where I'm at. There's a ton of fly by night pop up and crash and burn local shops.
