Yeppers. I just read this morning that as of Jan 2nd folks that took the pokes make up 67% of hospitalized and 50+% of icu cases in the US. So, the poke is a crapshoot anyways and since natural immunity is 6-10 times higher in those that have contracted and passed it, there’s just not enough justification for mandates. Also, the cdc has recently said immune fatigue from over va xing is a real probability. Plus, being that every major news channel is sponsored by P f izer, is more than enough to convince me that bottom lines, ignoring the Hyppocratic oath and promoting a v ax as the only option of treatment whilst trying to bury alternatives is more than enough for me to fight for my right to choose.

15% of hospitalizations in the US are people who are vaccinated. Of those 15%, 65% of them are over 65.

98% of all deaths in the US from Covid are in unvaccinated people.

The vaccine might not be perfect, and I support everyone's right to choose, but it is far more effective than you have been led to believe.

I don’t care either way what numbers are right or wrong but imho this crap should not be posted in the forum. It’s just like politics and religion. Any numbers you are going to find can not be trusted imho as this is fueled by media and politics. Let’s discuss something more appropriate

I tend to lean more to Randy's point of view here, but the issue we have as Nic has pointed out is that we no longer believe anything regarding this sickness.

Where I don't agree with Nic is that some of our mates here are sick, really sick. It is remiss of us NOT to talk about it I believe. Arguing, hand-bagging and butt-hurting is not talking however.

I'm a nobody here, but here's my take.

There's some members that are sick. We are all hoping the best and giving well wishes for them the best we can. There's no doubt about the fact we do give a chit about the others on here.

But. Because it has become such a quagmire of information, misinformation and lots of WTF, it causes NUMBERS to become a hot button like politics or religion.

I think we should be posting our get well soon's and best wishes but trying to add any "technical information " into is best left out.

It truly is sad that it's come to that, but the cats out of the bag, and unfortunately it has turned into another dividing factor in our world.

So, I say give each other our best, give everyone a GFY when required but leave the "numbers" alone.

As a species, human beings had a fair run, but I can't imagine we will have enough sense to survive too much longer. Thank God I'm old enough to remember when intelligent people were more common.

More than sometimes, it is one of those things that needs to be nipped in the butt asap. While we all have our opinions, we have to at least consider that someone may have information different than what we do. It is ok to disagree as long as it doesn't get insulting. The modern individual humans need to "be right" has exploded beyond return for many reasons. Even discussing that alone would cause a war. I'm just as guilty of this as the next guy. Something I've been trying to work on

I've been trying to herd the cats for good long while. These last few years have been the worst. No one does their own thinking anymore. They all have the opinion of some guy they never even met to guide them. Sadly, I'm running short of *Phüks to give.

Not sure how you get past this. I agree civility has gone out the window these days. Almost seems as if someone wants us all fighting each other to distract us from the bigger picture. I refuse to get into a fight, unless someone swings at me physically. Others seem to look to get others wound up. The problem lies with our TV sets, if more people turned them off, there would be less disagreements. Most just want to raise a family and have some fun, while others are not happy unless they convince others they are right.

Hang in there, some sanity still exists, just have to look for it.

One other thing @Mastermind, I am in crossville right now, can I come over and rent a couple of pigs?
