Our kids return to school this week, remotely. For me that also means working from home while E does 2 hours of schooling and an extra 6 hours of video games / youtube slacking.

Hoping the weather guessers are right and that the arctic grip starts to loosen tonight.

Yeppers. I just read this morning that as of Jan 2nd folks that took the pokes make up 67% of hospitalized and 50+% of icu cases in the US. So, the poke is a crapshoot anyways and since natural immunity is 6-10 times higher in those that have contracted.

I'm not sure where you found this.....but it's not even close to being accurate.

15% of hospitalizations in the US are people who are vaccinated. Of those 15%, 65% of them are over 65.

98% of all deaths in the US from Covid are in unvaccinated people.

The vaccine might not be perfect, and I support everyone's right to choose, but it is far more effective than you have been led to believe.
