Well, I do agree with you on this particular truck, but just because it's not all thrashed out doesn't mean it doesn't work.
My Dad's 17 has 50k on it and I'd say 45k of that was spent pulling right around 16,000lbs and the truck could go right in any showroom and be just fine.
