I go through .105 Magnum Gator line like it’s licorice

Until we fence the place (if we do) and scrape it down, add topsoil, etc this is what we have

My doc is a big time proponent of aging. He will fill them with ice if to warm and always leave the hide on. Hide keeps the Bacteria out and helps insulate the meat if he's having to ice them to age properly if to warm. He went onto the science behind muscle changing to meat with proper aging. Visible under a microscope.

It makes a helluva difference to hang ‘em with the hide on if you have the means. Good friend of mine years ago, he and his ol’ man had a processing gig for several years, and a huge walk-in cooler. You could hang 20 deer in that cooler.

Just been the perfect day here, 76 now, to just kick back on the back patio with the ribs going, Amazon Echo jamming some tunes, and a good ol’ cold beer. No football watching, none of that *s-wordt…Falcons wouldn’t do nothing but get my damn blood pressure high anyhow. I wish that damn Matt Ryan would end up on one of y’all’s teams for the next 10 years plus. You’ll get it then no doubt!

Many years ago during an absolutely brutal winter the moose were having a tough time so a feel good animal group decided to charter bush planes and drop bales of hay to save the poor moose

The fish and game guys went ballistic and told them they absolutely couldn’t do it because the moose would get zero benefit from hay

They waited until the uproar died down and did it anyway

In the spring in the area they chose to “save” they found dozens of dead moose with full bellies that had starved to death on the hay

Ripped out this rats nest of wiring from under the dash of the dodge. Looks to be a car alarm, some brake controller parts, a transmission controller, a mickey moused kill switch, and some of it is for an exhaust brake that I'd like to retain.


Also cleaned out the interior. Found a button cell battery, $1.07 in change, a 22-250 shell and round, a new grid heater relay, some alarm thing, an 8mm India made wrench, and some miscellaneous fuses and hardware.
