610 or 710?? I knew you would wake up from lunch wif McCulloch talk going down. LOL
I think they were the same as a 610.
Cant remember if those used the 54 cc engine like a 1010, or the 57 cc like the 1010 Super.
Anyway, that one went to stay with my neighbor.
I'm a sucker for 10 series Macs.

Hellz yeah.
First saw my Dad ever put in my hands was one of his pair of 610's. I was around 11 I think.
Still have them sitting on a shelf.
How my scrawny little azz ever wielded one of those yellow bricks without tipping over should be on an episode of Unsolved Mysteries.
Agreed. In spite of having a lot more plastic parts and anti vibe, they were heavy and kinda unwieldy compared to a 1010 or PM700.
Actually have a 610 I need to fix for a guy this weekend if I get time.
Not saying they arent good saws. They will cut all the firewood you can burn, and pretty reliable.

I want to say the timber bear is the same as a 610, which is 60cc and has larger piston diameter than the promac 55/10-10S did. 10-10S has a 1.812 bore, 610 is 1.850(47mm). I had a 610 for awhile and it ran great. But, it sat alot because I would grab my 70cc Promac 700 instead.

LOL! So I had to check Acres site.
Apparently, the Timber Bear is a 55 cc saw, so its different than a 610.
Maybe a 605?

Could be lol. Still a McBrick saw at any rate, and one of the best kept "cheap firewood muscle" secrets... for what I had into that 610 I shoulda kept it.
