It's a sad day today. My grandmother passed away late this morning. I've lived next door to her my whole life so needless to say I was close with her. She passed away at home in her bed with my grandfather by her side. Very sad for us all but she's with God and her pain is over.

Condolences on the loss Joe. My grandparents were my childhood neighbors as well. Grandpa had a massive heart attack in his shop when I was 16 and I found him.

I feel for you.
I am headed to the funeral home in a few myself. My mom and i worked together 48 years.
Seeing each other daily then they are not there leaves a big void.
Remember the good, happy times they will be with you forever.

Condolences on the loss Joe. My grandparents were my childhood neighbors as well. Grandpa had a massive heart attack in his shop when I was 16 and I found him.

That's a terrible thing to have to experience, especially at such a young age. I can say it has been wonderful to live next to my grandparents and have a close relationship with them.

Sorry for your loss. I haven't fully processed the fact that she isn't here with us any more, but there will undoubtedly be a void that can't be filled. Definitely a lot of happy memories with her.
