You mis-understood Todd. Brick is definitely an option. You'd clean up here mate.
Over here it’s mostly double clay bricks. They are trying to introduce modular frame pods upstairs crane in and bolt down, but it’s receiving a Luke warm reception.

I'm going to have to get used to two pair because these are terrible for that 15" - 40" area like tinkering on a bench. To little of the trifocals and mostly what you need in that situation. Sounds like you have what I'm getting. Your work glasses have no distance?

Work glasses are +3.50 with no distance. I look over them when I walk. It took awhile for me to wear them and not be annoyed by looking across the room and everything being blurry. But as bad as my eyes have become, the blurriness is just a part of life.

Good morning Randy how they hanging today :risas3:

Hanging on Todd.

I thinkie my readers are +2.0 or +2.5. Do the same...have 'em at the end of my nose, and look over 'em to walk, look at anything distant, etc. My problem is reading from 12-18" range, especially small print.

Good Evening Todd. Doing fine. Got 7 integrated led ceiling lights up at the church in the meeting rooms. Had to reorder 3 times as the fixtures would come with broken lenses(diffusers). Jim Carey and his family must be working at fedex and ups.

What fixtures did you put in? Broken and cracked lenses is pretty rare for us.

I had traditional lined bifocals, now i have trifocals as well for the blurry area between the reading distance and maybe 4 foot. What a fuggin pain to get used to. Trying to find that little strip of the lense that allows seeing that medium distance. The glasses I use for driving that have a magnetic polarized sunglass clip, im skipping the trifocals. The dash is a bit blurry but totally readable. I can't imagine dealing with those progressive lenses. Nope.
I am lucky in a way that I do not have eye diseases, and that the eyes are weakened very similarly, left to right, not crooked corneas etc.
I do not remember the numbers, it reminds me that I should soon check my sight again.
But let's say my short sight was -0.75, my long sight was +0.5, as said, they’re not super bad at all.
Next time I will have good reading glasses, and one set of glasses for farsightedness.
Progressive glasses, I think they are absolutely awful to read with, as well, I hate having to use my neck that way.

I just carry a cheap pair of readers around my neck at all times.
When the doc says I need to bump up a little, I chuck all the old ones and buy new cheap ones in the stronger magnification. Up to 1.75 this year. Not too strong, but I cant read or see chit up close without them. From arms length on out is still good.

I need +1.75 to drive. +3.50 to read.
