Just reading up on your fires in Athens Dan. 1/2 of Greece totally burnt. Very destructive, heavy hearted for your country's losses.

It was a rough summer, Tim. Our island has suffered the biggest fire in Greece's recorded history. We’re the same size as Long Island. At least 1/3 of our forest on Evia was wiped out.
I’m probably going to go help cut and place trees for erosion control.

Morning and stuffs.
Made it to Athens for round 2.
Always easier when all the parts are there.
Went over and brush hogged the boys field yesterday evening.
Allergies are kicking me arse this morning.
Y'all be careful out there, stay cool, and sending some good vibes for those that needs the rain.

lol probably
but a jeep

a jeep ??????

oh wait dont you have a jeep ?

If you keep reliability out of the equation and off-road is your thing, nothing comes close to a Jeep Wrangler Rubicon. Nothing. Stock vs stock. I did have two Jeep Wrangler TJ sports. First one was a 97 and so problematic I sold it back to a different dealer a year later. 4.0 TJ's were hard to get yet back then so they were practically peeing themselves to have a low milage 6 banger on the lot. The second was a 99 and was mostly trouble free. I'll say this, the 4.0 inline 6 Jeep engine is one of the best engines made and the AX-15 five speed manual was stout as was the later NV-3550. It's a shame they went to that v-6 trash engine thats in them now.

my ex had a 05 grand Cherokee with the 3.7 underpowered junk in it
Rear wheel bearing was 150 bucks because it was a bolt in
It got 15mpg around here and only 18 on interstate
Lights in the heater control went out and was not changeable meaning the control unit had to be replaced
It was a awd and no shifter for 4wd and it didn’t go for *s-word

For me, a Jeep is for one thing. Playing in the boonies. The only one Id buy would buy would be the short 2 door wrangler or maybe a square body Cherokee. Even those there are certain years with certain garbage components I'd steer clear of unless I was replacing it all anyway. Ya know, axle, T-case, transmission swaps. Jeep, even before Chrysler ownership, put some sh!t components in there CJ Jeeps. Model 20 rear axle just to name one.

My nephew's girlfriend has one. The local mechanic was formally a mechanic for a Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep dealership before opening his own shop. He says that engine in the worst engine Chrysler has ever made.
