Here's all you need to add
9mm to your .40 smith
Same recoil spring.
Used to be cheap I bought these when the factory barrels were 65.00 and the 17rnd mags were 20.00
Very reliable and accurate never a failure.

I called smith year's ago to get recoil guide rods just in case
I'd ever need one
I tried to buy 3 they wouldn't let me pay for them
They sent me 2 fullsize and 1 compact
Assembly's for free.
