Good evening fellas… I had an interesting day sailing today sea state was ok at first wind was ok at first but got stronger as the day went on. And so the swell got bigger..

anyhow we went out to the wind farm which is about 8 miles off shore, we got within 1/2 mile of it and came back.
On the way out we were doing 3 knots increasing to 6 0r 7 knots then 7 most of the way back… we did a tack and the main sail ripped … so we only had the foresail and the rear to come back on and was still doing 4 or 5 knots..

I don’t think I will be in a hurry next time the forecast is like it was today and sea is as big as it was and the wind increasing.
Btw the sails were old. He said he’s been putting off getting new sails but will have to now.
The turbine motor is 265 ft high the blades 180 ft each and the total height 460 ft
But if you go on the web page from the top of the screen shot it’s all on there
