Well…signed up for a tennis tournament this wknd with some local folks who play the several tennis court parks around here. Had to get in the 50+ group, lol. Playing singles and doubles. Had a few racquets restrung last week with Babolat synthetic gut and Babolat RPM Blast Spin at 60lbs. Only way you know where you stand on the court is to get out there with the big dogs. Chances are I’ll prob see an early exit but what the hell. Lol

I was able to salvage the last peach on the tree, and it was huge, and it was good. I had to look up why the pit splits, it's cuz it was experiencing fast growing conditions.

I threw a hundred in the burn pile to help reduce pests and fungus.

Around my area your not allowed to bring wood into campgrounds, have to buy it there/local. Supposed to help with the emerald ash borer and pine beetles and such.

total bs that campgrounds have been more than happy to exploit. So far here there has been no evidence to support that firewood bans have done squat to mitigate the spread of tree pests. Sorry for the rant bit of a peeve of mine.

I wondered when I saw the pics the first time but too much city slickers to correct a country boy on critters. Then F’ers like to eat the roots of lawns, had some nasty tracks in the front yard this spring. Have spotted one of the f’ers in the garden a couple time lately.

(Thought somewhere I had a pic of the lawn but can’t find right now)

same here. All the bans did zero to stop that little bastard. They can fly 10 miles all on their little lonesome. Doesn’t sound like much but it’s plenty to fly over a silly ban line on a map.
