Was talking to one of my brothers a few days ago while he was driving home from work. I asked if he still had the Porsche Boxster I remember him buying a few years before. He didn't. He had traded it in on a 911. I remarked that for a sports car it was very quiet. But he wasn't driving the 911.....he was driving a Mercedes AMG. I can't imagine having the sort of money that guy has. Hell I've been bargain shopping for parts to fix up my 38 year old truck.

You always wish you had more money to buy nicer things or more land or a bigger house or more play toys or whatever. I kind of look at it like when you get a cheat code in a video game for infinite money. You get the best of everything all customized the way you want it and then you get board with the game in an hour.

I don't want excessive income because im scared real life would turn into the video game.

I know and actually I’d be ok with either engine 275hp is enough in one
If I bought one it would be for mostly one purpose. Therefore I'd have the 4 cyl manual with the squatch package. That said, my days of taking a new rig, throwing $1000's into it for increased off-road prowess, are over. If I'm ever to get back into trail playing I'd either get a rust free TJ or Toyota something and mod the hell out if it, or most likely get a side x side and make it street legal and use that.

Good on you bud. I never have nor will I ever begrudge anyone for being rich or having more than I. I made my choices in life and they made theirs. I'm happy with where I am.

Great outlook on life.

My wife and I just rode all over on our Kawasaki checking out our cattle and hay fields. This is what I enjoy.....room to roam, and a good woman by my side.

Lol. You know I wouldn't be buying a Polaris. But id buy either a Honda pioneer 1000 2 seat or the Yamaha 800 wolverine 2 seater. Id want a play / utility machine. No way in hell id buy any brand SxS for 30,000. Or 20,000. Ultimately I'll probably end up with a Kubota RTV X 1120D. I can't get myself into to much trouble with a 29 mph top speed lol. It would be extremely handy around our property and sip fuel.

All that means much more than being rich money wise. You are rich in what matters.

So I just realized today that I'm on my last vintage saw project. YES!! I'm no longer acquiring them and have reduced my collection significantly. There are two others here needing parts and repair. I'm over them and will be sold or given away. All future saw endeavors will be new or modern saws.

I know but they all cost that, polaris makes hd versions of the ranger in fact there was a Brutus for sale up here for 13,000 full cab and some attachments. All hydrostatic drive and a Diesel engine in the Brutus it is now discontinued because of low sales but is the same as a bobcat tool cat. Polaris builds the bobcat and gravely sxs also.

My retirement plan may end up being sell my land and house. Add that to my 401. Build a shack house boat. Take my boat to the coast catch fish. Eat them and leave the money for my son. No tricity, no intranet, propane and gasoline to buy here and there. Solar panels for the lights. Easier said that done but I know and known several people live that way just fine.

I remember seeing the Diesel Polaris. They were driving it around a tractor show. Pretty cool unit. I never would have considered the original Kubota RTV. The X versions actually aren't ugly, have much better suspension and some other upgrades. Kubota offers a 2" lift if I recall it correctly. Id opt for that and the tallest fattest tire / wheel combo that would fit without rubbing. They are heavy so floatation is your friend.

Yes sir. I am keeping the Remington Mighty Might saws and the SL-9. The Homelite Super EZ automatic and the Mini Mac 6 im restoring currently. All the rest are either gone or in the staging area to be offed. In the future my mind could change on keeping the SL-9 and Super EZ too.
