That civic other than the blocks cracking, are the best built Honda of that era. The jatco cvts are the ones that are trash. Nissan and fca use them. I believe that Honda uses an aisin cvt.

Their pancakes come on a platter.
The skillet I got is about 3" deep of hashbrowns, sausage, bacon, ham and 2 eggs. A couple of those would likely put your tapeworm into a food coma. Come on up and try it out, I'll even buy!

I read the block issue on the 1.8 was 06 and 07. Ours is an 09 and still good to go. Its always been dealer serviced on time per the maintenance minder or manual. Coolant, break fluid... everything.
