So me and the Mrs. are headed out so I could do some spruce humpin. Yep it's a spruce @Woodpecker , it's got cones. Anyways, drivin thru town I spot a WV plate. I start callin out, "Hey dall!!!" The wife gives me one of these , ''Did you say doll?'' And to more . I'm laughin at this point but I was still callin it out. "dall...DALL...daaalll." Apparently the WV driver thought I was yellin insults. I got the bird back.
Made my mornin for a good day. Even got rained on with another slimy crack.
I didn't even care.

I got this one out of a 25 cent vending machine, back in the mid 60's.
That's an "AA" cell for scale.

My best placement ever?
Helping a young lady friend get moved into a new apartment.
She had stuffed a bunch of linens into her washing machine to keep the drum from banging around during the ride.
I discretely nestled my old buddy on the top of the agitator post once the washer was in place at the new appt.

A few days go by...
and I get the phone call.

..said she and her roommate threw everything in the kitchen drawers at it and the damn thing still wouldn't leave.

Then, she got suspicious of her moving help. lol
