I’ve had a busy day, I had to drive to my son to fix his little pit bike. 18yr old Boys living with there mum. Mum says take it to a garage. Boys says dad can you fix it.
So dad says yes I can o_O
So he wanted to adjust the forks and the Alan key, well he used the bobble end and snapped it off in the bolt .

how do you fix it

well after 3 small drill bits broken I managed to drilled down the side,of it and. Ended up bending a small nail into a j shape and wiggled it in so I could push it from the back in the centre so it popped out.

well it took me 2hrs to work it out and do it. Then tap the Alan key in and undo the bolt to adjust the forks.
Job done :) but there’s more he said…..Dad can you fix this and that and dot dot dot…:(

anyhow the answer was yes to all of them:risas3:

But I forgot to say, on the way over in the morning, I had to stop to pick up this young boy that had a broken neck.
He was still warm. Anyhow I dragged him to the trailer and got him into it where he stayed till I got him home and hung him up and cut his throat :D

What’s cooking slackers? I took a couple hours to slack with the kids…shot a couple bricks of .22 ammo in the backyard. Just for fun I touched off a few full house 125 grain .357 mag loads out of my snubnose revolver…my wife came running outside to see what happened, lol. Time to get back to work I guess.

Looks deriscious Sean.
What flavor is that? We would call it a whitetail.

Forgot to add this to my previous post. Homemade scalloped potatoes and Vidalia onions to go with the big ol’ box of Popeyes yardbird. Changed up my usual recipe and damn these turned out fine. Little heaping or three of sour cream on top and talk about some good stuff.

View attachment 298822 View attachment 298823 Wow the temperature compensation is quite high, sample has been sitting out in my fuel shed for 2 hours to allow any emulsified air to bubble out.
I forgot about reading a couple of your posts on makin fuel. i did the same in '08 when prices reached $5/gal.
From the looks of rising fuel costs, I'll be doing it again.

Did you use petroleum or veggie oil?
WVO.... Free for the taking. I let it settle a couple weeks, drained the crap out the bottom, and then heated to about 180* for a couple hours to evaporate any water. After that I filtered it down to 2microns with a pump setup before it went in my tank. The only downside was driving around always seemed to make me hungry.

Ah never did veggie oil. Always got a supply to paraffin based and naphthalene based oils here and I’m a bit of a chemistry geek. My process is a lot more in depth but hardly any veggie oil supply and if you mix the 2 you make an elmers glue type compound of fatty acids and waxy substances. Aka glue injectors shut or worse open!

You must have had a 12v Cummins or something forgiving?

Yuppers.... you are spot on.
That's one of the biggest things I like about my 7.3l. The fuel rails are cast into the cyl heads. Fuel gets thin and hot before kissin the injectors.
