So. Camaras.

I need something that is either rechargeable, or battery powered. I have no wifi at the barn, so it will need an sd card or something. I'd like no flashing lights or flash....and night vision.

Thoughts?

I've got one trail cam that takes a SIM card from a mobile carrier and will send you pics with SMS. Batteries last and they can be cleverly disguised.

About 5 years ago we were taking care of a large property that had no electric and lots of buildings. I put them up there to help with the vandalism and theft that was going on.

Battery powered equipment has become quite impressive. I use a Milwaukee m18 10" miter saw on jobs. One 9.0 Battery can chop up some serious amounts of material

I quite enjoy the freedom of doing jobs without the cord attached. Except for that Makita 36V wormdrive skilsaw....that sob is unnecessarily heavy.

Too far.

Barn is on the next road over. We're gonna get a phone line put in and install a modem. Seems to make the most sense.

That would be more expensive. Have you seen the price of osb?
You better Ft. Knox-proof that phone line and box coming to the exterior wall or coming into the barn, wherever its gonna be. If the crackheads cut the line, there goes your DSL, modem/router, wifi and all...like you never had phone line ran at that point.

Buddy of mine has the DeWalt Flexvolt 60V Max 12" compound/sliding miter saw...it's a bad ass miter saw and will run with corded 12" miter saws all day long.

I think dewalt does this too but some of milwaukee's m18 stuff has dual power so you can run battery power or plug it in to the wall if need be. I kinda like having those options

Dad has a similar Milwaukee miter saw and he runs it with the 12 amp batteries. She’s a beast
