those wildlife cameras, and some can take an external power supply, from a 12v battery.

there’s a few to choose from, I,m sure others can chime in about the pro's & cons

edit,, some can even take a SIM card and send the pics. But one thing is they are not fool proof, if someone is wearing a hoody or you just rear pic.
