Had much the same experience years ago. “My Dentist” would only see me if I needed a high $$ procedure. A bridge, a complicated extraction or such. The worst thing is that I never signed up too see him, I knew one of the other dentists and wanted to see her but his policy was that he did the expensive procedures to line his bank account.
Our guy was only in the office one day a week towards the end at his practice, and one at his wifes. And late 30's to early 40's. Not some near retirement feller. Good on them I guess. Play while you still can.

No idea. We left there because we never saw "our" dentist anymore. Always some other mfer. We like a little more personal touch, not like Dallas and Randy type touch, but at least see the dentist ya signed up for.

I see you are thinking about me. I like that.

LOL

Good morning men.

So....we are changing two perfectly good doors to finish that master bedroom remodel because my ocd will not allow them to stay. See picture....

Helmsman spar urethane on those doors. Water based sealer on the cedar walls. Not about to sand those doors. Sanding the frames was enough.

Hard case alright. Here you are deliberately putting up natural looking wood. I can't wait to paint white over our honey stained pine planking because i'm sick of looking at it.

We have a room and a hallway of that color pine. Yellow from the oil based polyurethane. Im good with it if it's the whole room but we went a different route with the bedroom. Unfortunately those doors were done with the last remodel. Also, out with the brass, in with the oil rubbed bronze for everything. All the knobs, hinges, lighting, outlets.... everything. These two doors are the last step fir us. Carpet comes next Monday. Fugg playing carpenter.
