The wind is up......and the maple tree I dug too close to has me worried. At times I can see the ground move a little around it when the wind gets to pushing on it. If it makes it through this without crushing my shop, I'll have it on the ground before the wind gets up again.

I remember putting two split apart cherry tree halves back together about ten years ago with a chain binder on my parents front lawn. Looked like they were dancing together. Split right through the center of the stump. Y section was six feet off the ground with a five by seven foot stump. I used 1/2" tow chains and binders to get it back together. Shot lined to the one leader and tied that to a bull line that was hooked to a pickup truck tight. Next day Paul took it apart with a bucket truck. They gave me chit for wanting to climb it the next day. It was stable but over power lines and the house supply lines. Whole tree was punky, firewood.

Welp... my week started a half hour ago hanging up plant hooks and plants. Two days of tree chit this week and plenty of repair work to get done before Thursday.

Chilly here in the evening these past few days. Had a nice fire last night. Welcome change for late spring.
Only six weeks till the long days end.
