Dude, hose that thing down with some brakleen, throw a meteor kit on it, smear some Motoseal here and there, and get back at it.

If I do I'll probably throw it under the bench for a back up, or give it to someone that needs a firewood saw. I bought another new one this morning and sent it to Kevin as soon as I left the dealer.

Or you could do that.
Probably plenty of "firewooders" around that would like it.
Definitely understand needing to get back to work.

So serious question. Do you supply your own saw(s) by choice or you employed as a contractor?

I get a 1099 at the end of the year, so buying my own stuff gives me write off's and some of us use our own stuff.

I'm gonna buy another 462 as well and some new ropes, I'd rather have the gear than give it to uncle sam.

So its yours, and you can do as you wish with it. That means you can take suggestions, or tell everyone to GFT. Amiright?
