Auto companies change parts suppliers and manufacturers constantly. If theres a part number supercession it's likely a revised part or new supplier.
Or it's replacing it with the same *s-word I'm removing.

Block will stay in.
Remove cylinder head, front cover, oil pan.
Parts are ordered.
I'll get to it first week of May..
I leave for vacation this Saturday and I won't have to worry about one of the vaginas I work with doing the job. Customer will continue to drive it until then.

Finally got approval on the sized 3.6.
Need to get the flexplate and torque converter off....


Crankshaft can't stay seized if it's liquid..

There's a big crack on the intake side of the piston and a few chunks broke off..

It doesn't owe me anything so I'm not super pissed off.

Find the chunks Ryan or grinding paste now?

clean it up and throw and new piston in it and make it pay you back lol

You can come put that choke switch back together with those wires..pain in the ass.

Its warm-ish in Fitzgerald GA this evening, but the wind is blowing 97 mph in a north-east-South-west-ish direction.
Theres also not a cloud in the sky, so the big yellow hot thingy is staring DIRECTLY at my pasty arse. Time for some sunblock.
