How’s Steve doing today

Aint gonna like that one Tim.Good morning guys.
So the old black dog met his end yesterday, not far from where I photo'd him a few weeks ago. He was doing the same thing, soaking up some late morning sun. We had an Easter egg hunt Sat that turned into a bonfire and party into the night. One of the gals came back to collect her vehicle. Got in it and sat just long enough for Hank to wander behind her and lay down in the sun. My girlfriend had him for 14 years, and treated him like a king. He led as good of a life as any dog could. I had started plans to build him a ramp to get up and off of the porch easier. He had declined a lot in the last couple years, no doubt he didn't see or hear it coming, and he couldn't have bit the tire with any kind of force if he had. We put him at the end of a fence row near the bee hives. She plans to put a pollinator garden there. R.I.P. Hank you ODB.View attachment 291873

Sorry to hear Tim. It's always sad when a beloved pet passes on. I'd like to think there's a special place for them somewhere more than just in our hearts. Positive vibes headed your way.Good morning guys.

He had been an adventure in the mornings lately. Last week I let him and the other dog out and jumped in the shower. I went to do door after toweling off and he was wandering off into the dark to take on the pack of coyotes that were going crazy in the field next to the house. I had a 3:20am naked sprint through the yard that morning. Can't like this Tim. I'm terribly sorry to hear about your dog. Hank sounded like a sweet one
I’ve had one of those experiences myself. We do all kinds of crazy things for our animals. I tell you what though they love us more than we love them. They are just born with that giftHe had been an adventure in the mornings lately. Last week I let him and the other dog out and jumped in the shower. I truly believe they are here to teach us how to love children do as well. I know I’ve said this before. But humans are not born with that ability to love unconditionally. Dogs are, that’s why they don’t have to live as long because it just takes us until we have children or pets to understand unconditional love. Some people still never learn that feeling.RIP Hank.
Sorry to hear he met his end this way. My dogs are like kids to me.
This sucks sorry to hear this Tim. My dog is like my third kid. I would be devastated.Good morning guys.
