Watched a couple videos and just did a quick look at the kits. 330 bucks for a cheaper kit (froth pak) isn't going to cut it. I'll have less than half that into just gluing 1" panels up. I got excited there for a sec as this isn't a part of the project I'm really looking forward to. Oh well.
Friend of mine yrs ago converted an enclosed trailer into a small camper like you’re doing. He sprayed and rolled the bottom, except the frame square tubing, with Rhino liner and then cut out dimensionally and tacked welded like 1/2”-13 or so expanded metal across the bottom to keep rocks, debris, etc from banging up the bottom side of the floor. Don’t remember ever hearing any complaints or problems out of how he did it. He moved and haven’t seen him in a couple of years now but I’m sure he still has it. I think he had the lining and expanded metal on-hand and decided to go with what he had.
Many do that bare floor deal too. We had an all aluminum enclosed trailer. Same deal. They claimed the floor could be left under water for years without issue. Mmm hmmm. MTI ours was. Came from that big trailer sales place up north. USA trailer? Can't remember right off hand.

Over all I'm fairly impressed. It's a Neo built in Sturgis. But yeah there's a reason marine play gets the living fork painted out of it in a boating application.
