I need a new floor jack. I'm a buy once cry once kind a guy to a point. Not into harbor freight type quality but not paying for the Snap on name either. Any suggestions?

I bought a 99.00 HF special. So far it's been great.

I bought this jack that HF was sued by Snap-On for selling. My buddy that is a mechanic and has the Snap-On.....its the same jack.

Gotcha. I think you just described 90% of the roads down there. Especially the road up to the condo we rented. My wife (doesn't like heights) hated it. I thought it was super cool.

I was all about the wheels through time museum but it was a no go after a recent visit to the Henry Ford museum

Mrs W has had enough transportation museum time after visiting Henry Ford too

Clay is tough to come by here. We don't have dirt, we have sand..
I'll get a pic of "the beach" on my way back to the house after filling the other water hole.

Putting the liner down under the concrete is a good thought.
I'm looking for something that's easier for me to dredge the leaves and deer *s-word from and will last me longer.

Yeah I’m familiar with the beach. I saw your ferns in the field. Go a mile down the road here though and there’s some pretty good clay. Thought maybe it was similar where you were

I had a super heavy Larin one at home. After it quit, I got a HF one. It's been fine on any of my 3/4 ton trucks and the back of my skidsteer.

We had big dollar Mac ones at work. After they died they got replaced with Carlisle branded one from Napa.

Snap on has LOTS of stuff they don't make but rape on price. I worked with a guy that had previously worked at a place that produced sand blasters. The roll around type. The blue ones where the off brand. The red had a snap on sticker on them when they were finished. They were triple the price and identical but color.

Usually Snap-On has an excellent warranty program(At least they did back when I was buying them) anything broke, they replaced it, no question and you were right back to work again.

I've been getting some HF hand tools lately because Jonathan and Blake keep breaking stuff. I've got 3/4" drive tools, but they would rather slide a cheater pipe over a 3/8" ratchet and break it than dig out the big stuff. To be honest, the HF tools are really nice stuff.

A slim head 3/4 drive ratchet will break when you have a 200 pound person and a 8 foot pipe
I’ve had a 5 foot pipe on 1/2 inch big head ratchet and no problem

A slim head 3/4 drive ratchet will break when you have a 200 pound person and a 8 foot pipe
I’ve had a 5 foot pipe on 1/2 inch big head ratchet and no problem

My 3/4 drive ratchet is old...real old. To reverse it, you slide the piece the socket goes on out the other side and flip it over. Big and heavy too.

Their air tools, some of the drill bits and a few other things are a limited warranty. Everything else is lifetime. I'm lucky that my Snap-on guy is a good one. We used to have a decent Mac guy, the one we have now is a knob. We had an OK Matco guy, but he only lasted a year or two.

Evening ratchet ruiners!
Got the 350 Hoosky "Extra Boudin edition" finished.
Muffler turned out pretty bad. All I had was an acetylene torch and a 3/32" filler rod.
She got a little hot.
Found a pin hole that melted in it, but its good enough for who its for right now.

You rough prix. Heard of power bars or tee's?

I have a really old uniqueish ratchet. It's 3/8" one side, 1/4" the other. I'd use it more but I swear it's got like 12 teeth. Never gonna choose it over a 120XP alternative.
