Morning Phantoms...48 heading to 62, little cloud cover but nothing on the radar. May break out the Colt Sporter Lightweight AR and go bust some 7.62x39 primers this afternoon...dug up a few 1,000 round cases I’ve had stashed for several years.

I think we talked about one of your customer's using sap for mash water. It was a plan for me when I was brewing. Would be super hard perfect for a big black beer.

Yep that particular guy made an absolutely great maple märzen with a great balance between the dark malt and I think centennial hops. Way betterer than the commercial stuff I've had. There are some pretty talented amateur brewers out there.

I myself made a pretty badass porter with some late season dark maple syrup. Sadly one of the last beers I ever made.

About as good as Stihl warranty that isn’t worth sh!t:rolleyes:
True. I put a new piston in a buddies 441. He brought it to the stealership he got it from and was told no compression and that he ran it on ethanol gas. Buddy said well first of all I didn’t and second of all stihls website says that you CAN run them on up to 10% ethanol fuel. Man replied, “oh.....I don’t know then”. I think it was more his crew abusing it in the hot summer. Running it with a dull chain, not warming it up etc.
