Mornin' hoes(how's my kiwi?)

30° and clear. Still a little breezy. Looks like mid 40s today. The geriatric black lab left me a gift on the bathroom floor this morning. What a start. Not much I can do to the fugger. If I rubbed his nose in it he'd just lay down and nap. Gotta be downhill from here. Keep the rubber side down all day today.

Thanks Todd same to you. Had eight pups added to the short term feed bill yesterday. This one is named Sonny after this cool Norwegian guy with the same birthday.View attachment 287542

Congrats Gramps.

Is there a ridiculous high demand for puppies around there like here? “Rescue” puppies are around the $600 mark here and from a breeder just about anything is over $3000. People at home due to the pandemic is really creating a concern. What happens when all these people stop working at home and have to return to the office? Poor animals.

There is demand for this type of working dog for people with livestock. They are not high dollar dogs though, especially for how good they are at what they do. This is Dad and Mom when we first got her.67608.jpeg
They are NOT pets. They are happiest living outside and in a barn with a flock or a herd to look after.

As far as the rescues I really don't pay attention locally.
