Sometime when your car is stuck in the drive and you’re not in a hurry, let the air out of the drive tires until they start to squat pretty good and see. Usually you can drive right out of it
There was an old fella I worked with way back. Ran 20 psi all winter in whatever he drove. Didn't drive fast or on the highway. Swore by it.

All you folks in Winter Wonderland and playing in the snow...head south and squat on DirtyTech’s little patch of earth in sunny Flo-rida. Ol’ man winter will be gone before too long and I’m sure he could use the company.

Well I was going slow this morning and all it took was a little ice and the truck did whatever it wanted so I’m asking what else I need to do.
If you are running 80 psi or something crazy, lower to 35. Plenty in a truck not towing or hauling 2000 pounds.

It’s hotter here than Florida during the summer. Our winters usually aren’t long either. I’m good we’re I’m at unless I go to Brazil

I think both are true. Depends on the type of conditions, weight of the vehicle ect. Ive experienced it both ways.
I have too. But end of the day the cherokees, wranglers, and 2000s trucks couldn't hold a candle to those Broncos driftin'.

Are studs legal in some areas? They aren’t here, haven’t been at least since I was a kid. I remember dad talking about it
Police, mail delivery can in michigan in certain months according to our mail lady that runs studded tires. Other than govment peeps, nobody else can here. Like you said, for many moons now.

Right. Id have to air down and try to ride over them. To light to go through with the fat meats. Airing down that heavy bronco would not have made it float on snow. It may have hindered you.

I've just been talking virgin snow, once paths are cut, ruts are created, and snow packs down it's just not the same
